Meseroles was formed by James Eaton in Brooklyn back in 2016, creating noise out of Danbro Studios on Meserole St. with a loop pedal and some song ideas. When the American dream was over, James retreated to his native London and called on his forever-collaborator Daniel Fell (Teamsters, The Argonauts) to get something going, and build something new. As things came together and the songs required a bigger platform, the pair called on friends Nick Frater (Do Me Bad Things, Great Sheiks, Bon Vivants, Love) and Ben Handysides (Bon Vivants) to beef up the rhythm section.
During the long hot summer of 2018, the four entered a listed building in South London to settle some scores, and form the sound you hear today. While the rest of London was sipping pre-mix G&Ts in the parks, James and the gang laid the foundation for all that is to come.
The band adopt a DIY attitude, and believe that being regular, consistent, and brave with releasing music is the only way forward. With big shimmering guitars, soaring melodies, and unashamedly heart-on-sleeve lyrics, the band are aiming to make a dent in guitar music, and bring it screaming and kicking into the present.
